Emmanuel United Church

Emmanuel United Church, Waterloo presents emerging and established artists from across North America in an intimate setting. We provide fertile ground for emerging and established artists to showcase their live music in Waterloo. Our current live music series launched in 2019. We have hosted local and international acts and provided an intimate space for artists to perform and connect with their fans. Our historic church building has several spaces including our intimate Hearth Room (max 50 people, built 1935); our Fellowship Hall (max 250 people with a stage, built 1965); and our Sanctuary (max 400 people with great acoustics, built 1905). We are an inclusive church with an outreach focus. Our community is affirming and welcoming to all regardless of where they are in their life journey. We acknowledge the traditional territory upon which we gather. For many thousands of years, the Neutral, Anishnawbe, and Haudenosaunee have sought to walk gently on this land. We seek a new relationship with the Original Peoples of this land, one based in honour and deep respect.
